Decent College

The coursework is pretty standard. You can expect to come across all your basic computer science courses during your first three years. Where the college really lags is in the delivery of those courses. There isn't a lot of focus on the concepts and you can get by easily with highly sub-standard work. Most of the education is geared towards just getting that grade and passing along so as to get a job at one of your run-of-the-mill tech consultancies with very little focus on the concepts.I've hardly come across a course which was up-to-date and which was taught with references to the current state of technology and the industry.Trying to learn on your own and applying your learnings to coursework is seldom appreciated. Unless you've maintained a high grade point average, pretty much anything you say is treated as moo-point. You won't realize how seriously I mean that till you actually visit the place.I'll make an exception to say that there are a few nice courses that you can pick in your fourth year as electives. I certainly enjoyed studying a couple of them.

Best College of Delhi I hated high school. I loved college.Yep. I’m one of those people. And yes, that’s a shameless plug for my alma mater up top.Although college isn’t for everyone, if you did decide to pursue it, don’t go into it thinking you’re signing up for four years of academic misery and financial ruin. They might not be the absolute best years of your life — after all, life is pretty long — but you know what? They do have the potential be some of the best years of your life.I don’t usually like to quantify education by facts and figures; I’m a firm believer in the fact that you get out of college what you put into it. The same is true of any situation, but college is probably one of the first huge milestones in life where it’s definitely the case. And it’s about more than book learning (although obviously you’re there to learn) — it’s about getting out on your own for the first time, exploring new things, meeting new people, and learning everything from how to conduct research properly to how to deal with difficult and/or awesome situations.
